November Thoughts

NOVEMBER THOUGHTS BY Steven Bates 30 Oct 2022

In November, voting is the word They use to get the voices heard But what of all those silent thoughts That aren’t covered by a ballot box?

The deepest, darkest thoughts we hold Deep within for fear we’d fold Like paper crumpled on the floor Should these thoughts make it out the door?

What do we do with thoughts so dark That we shudder when voices give them spark? We share them friend, that much I know With a person you trust, that’s where you go

Talk to someone, call a friend Don’t let dark thoughts be your end Let others know when you are blue And remember to vote, it’s your duty to!
