F.E.A.R

F.E.A.R.

By Steven Bates, May 29, 2023

Nothing to fear but fear itself

A president once declared

But let’s put that concept on a shelf

And for a new truth, be prepared.

FEAR is now an acronym

Of instructions to fulfill

And when you faithful follow them

You’ll find a calming still

A word for every letter

That stands for what to do

Four words to make things better

When panic comes to you

The “F” now stands for the action, “Face”

The “E” for “Everything”,

The “A” puts simple “and” in place,

And “Rise” fills out the scene

All together FEAR now states,

And be it no surprise,

The action when fear permeates,

Is FACE EVERYTHING AND RISE!
